Jean Monnet School of Young Diplomat

In November 2020, the staff members of the Chair of History and Theory of International Relations at the Faculty of History, Dostoevsky Omsk State University organized classes for schoolchildren of the 10th and 11th forms in the Jean Monnet School of Young Diplomat.

During the studies schoolchildren got acquainted with the European political culture and history, the experience of creating the European integration associations, the decision-making system and the problems of development of the European Union

The EU Foreign Policy and Security Issues

In the framework of cooperation between the Chair of History and Theory of International Relations and the Omsk State Funded Educational Institution “Gymnasium No. 19”, the study course of the Jean Monnet School of Young Diplomat is taught to 10th form schoolchildren.

The study course became one of the compulsory courses for schoolchildren. Final grades for the study course depend on essay and tests checks. During the study course, 13 students chose research projects related to the history of development and the policy of the European Union for participating in the regional conference of primary schools of the Russian Academy of Sciences

EU model

We invite all students of the Jean Monnet School of Young Diplomat and everyone who wants to get acquainted with the political structure of a united Europe to participate in the European Union Model. In the framework of the EU Model, acting as delegates of the EU member states, you will be able to tackle the contemporary problems of the European continent in accordance with the practices and procedures of the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union.
